Year 4 (Data handling)

Year 4 have been using their graph skills in Geography to create bar models to show the heights of mountains.

 

 

Year 2 (Position and direction, Measure)

As part of our unit on explorers we went on an expedition around the school grounds, using our school grounds map. We split into two groups and created instructional directions for the other group to a feature within the grounds.  We used positional and directional language and metre sticks to measure. 

Year 4 (Number, Calculation and Statistics)

In Geography, we have been finding out about the highest peaks in each of the 7 continents. We then compared and ordered their heights and rounded them to the nearest 1,000m. We presented this data on bar graphs and wrote our own questions to ask a friend.
