Our scheme of learning shows clear progression as children move through key stage two. Our scheme is divided into stages (1-4). At Gothic Mede, all children start at stage one in year three and progress to stage two in year four. This gives them a solid foundation in the language before they move to middle school for upper key stage two. The attachment shows the progression in speaking, listening, reading and writing across the four language stages.
