Acorn Class have been celebrating the arrival of spring. We have enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine - the Garden Centre role play area is proving very popular. We have weeded and planted up our pots, planted some seeds and tended to our herb garden. We are reading Jack and the Beanstalk and will be planting some bean seeds to see if we can grow our very own beanstalks. We have enjoyed acting out and retelling the story in the puppet theatre. We have also been comparing the height of different beanstalks, using the language; longer, shorter, longest, shortest. We had fun making our very own beanstalks out of playdough and comparing the length of each other's. We are all enjoying Spring!
