Year 4 - Birch & Hazel
Year four has had a fantastic start to the year, covering a wide range of topics. The children have impressed us with their positive attitudes and hard work across all areas of the curriculum. It has been a real pleasure getting to know them all, and we look forward to what the next half-term has to offer.
This half-term, we will be learning about mountains in Geography, creating our own Christmas biscuits for DT and looking at electricity and circuits in Science. In English, we will be studying the Aladdin story as well as looking at bullying and racism through the poem Still I Rise by Maya Angelou. In PE, we will be learning Tag rugby and gymnastics. Please remember all jewellery needs to be removed and hair tied up for all PE lessons.
We have also started rehearsals for the Young Voices choir, which is always a highlight for our Year Four pupils.
As always, please feel free to contact us anytime if you have any queries.
